The ash tree

Ash is known as a hardwood, used as a tool handle (shovel, axe, pickaxe) or bow handle because it is resistant to vibrations while being slightly flexible. It can also be used for flooring that needs to be strong and durable.

It has a light color and less marked veins than oak and walnut.

The oak

It is the most widespread tree in France and particularly appreciates being in the sun in an open space, while possessing a great capacity for adaptation.

It is a heavy, hard and strong wood, which is why it is often used in carpentry and cabinetmaking.

Its “warm” yellow color makes it your favorite essence.

The walnut tree

The walnut tree is native to North America; only one species grows wild in Europe. It is used for its valuable wood as well as its fruit: walnuts.

Walnut wood, black, dense, and heavy, is highly prized. Although darker in color, it is used in cabinetmaking for the manufacture of various objects, including, in the past, rifle stocks, for example.
