Bowud: the concept

Bowud's main purpose is to provide access to quality work, made in France by artisan carpenters, to the measurements you need and above all with no minimum order. Like real high-quality furniture, all our boards are made of real inlaid wood and ready in 3 or 4 weeks! ⚡

These are many points that are very important to us at Bowud. We wanted to put this into practice when creating the beautiful wall shelves that Bowud offers online.

Our wall shelves are made in France by artisan carpenters with real expertise in all stages of the production of our products.

The process of all the necessary steps will be the subject of a separate article, but you should already know, without going into too much detail, that a master cabinetmaker selects the "cabinetmaker" quality woods for Bowud, the sheets are, one by one, inspected and then assembled by hand so that our wall shelves are the most beautiful. The final step of sanding and varnishing is also done by hand and allows for a final quality control by the carpenter.

Throughout the creation of our wall shelves, the carpenters working on their production have, through their experience and know-how, an eye and a seasoned sense of touch allowing them to rectify the slightest defect or, if necessary, to start the production of the product again.

This guarantees perfectly executed products. Convinced of French expertise in woodworking, this is also the reason why we produce in France. This comes at a cost, of course, but it's definitely worth it.

With bowud we would also like, at our level, to fight against white plastic-coated wooden furniture which does not stimulate any of the senses, unlike real wood.

Finally, because you can order your custom shelf from a quantity of 1, it also simplifies access and the ordering process, regardless of the quantity ordered, for work carried out by carpenters.
